Sealing Protection

Why Seal your stone, render, roof etc?

Sealing a substrate can help fight a multitude of problems from freeze thaw in your stone (where spalling can occur), to bossed render, as well as aesthetic issues such as algae, lichen and other biological growth.

We have a wide range of premium sealers that each have specific substrates they are designed to bond with. All of the sealers we use are breathable, penetrating sealers that do not harm or change the natural properties of the substrate i.e. colour or breathability. They work by penetrating into the substrate and do not sit on the surface. This means that when applied, they cannot be worn off until the substrate itself begins to whether, providing ultimate protection from water ingress.

So not only will the substrate be protected from potential defects, but also has the benefit of significantly reducing future maintenance.

What do our sealers fight against?

- Freeze thaw

- Water ingress

- Alage, lichen build up

- Efflorescence

- Render boss

- Constant maintenance
